Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is set to visit Sandeshkhali on Monday for an administrative meeting.
Preparations for the visit have already begun at the district administration level from yesterday. The administrative meeting will be held at the Rishi Aurobindo Mission Ground in Sandeshkhali.
Today, several officials visited the ground and helipad site for inspection. The team included Sujit Bose, the fire services minister and observer of Basirhat organisational district; chairman Saroj Banerjee; Sandeshkhali MLA Sukumar Mahato; district magistrate Sharadkumar Dwivedi and Basirhat district superintendent of police Hossain Mehdi Rahman.
