A day after Calcutta High Court cleared the way for the Enforcement Directorate to take embattled Trinamul Congress leader Anubrata Mondal to Delhi for questioning, the ED and the Asansol Special Correctional Home authorities are engaged in a tussle over who will be making the arrangements for the transfer of Mr Mondal to Kolkata and after to Delhi.
Thereafter, the ED e-mailed the Asansol Special Correctional Home authorities in the evening and said that they have to send Mr Mondal in the same manner in which Mr Mondal’s bodyguard, Sehgal Hussein, was sent to Delhi after the ED was granted his custody.
