Jagan puts onus for Chandrababu Naidu's incarceration on Modi Govt

Denying any political vendetta behind the arrest of archrival and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today claimed he had nothing to do with since it was the Narendra Modi led government which began investigating him through central agencies like ED and IT after coming to know about his corruption.

Reddy was addressing a party meeting at Indira Gandhi stadium in Vijayawada to outline the electoral strategy of the YSRCP including the launch of a statewide campaign named “Why AP needs Jagan?”.

It was attended by 8,000 people including YSRCP MPs, MLAs, senior leaders, elected and party officials as well as cadres.

The chief minister said the YSRCP will announce the manifesto in February which should reach every household and then the elections will be held in March-April. Usually, Assembly elections in AP are held simultaneously with Parliamentary polls.
