FOOTBALL stars last night paid tribute to former Premier League player Christian Atsu, who was killed in the Turkey earthquake.
The 31-year-old dad of three's body has been found under the rubble of his flat in Antakya, Hatay, nearly two weeks after the quake.
Initial reports suggested he had survived. But yesterday his agent Nana Sechere confirmed on Twitter: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce to all well wishers that sadly Christian Atsu's body was recovered this morning.
