LEGEND TREMLETT SAYS STOKES' BOYS HAVE SAME SPECIAL FEEL AS HIS 2011 TEAM THAT BEAT AUSSIES IN THEIR OWN BACKYARD
RICHARD EDWARDS
Time for T

CHRIS TREMLETT knows what it is like to hand the Aussies a thrashing.

He was part of the England side that hammered the old enemy to seal a first Ashes triumph on Australian soil in a generation in 2010/11.

Tremlett was also part of the England squad that enjoyed that golden summer of 2005.

Now, on the eve of another Ashes battle, he gets the sense that something special could be about to unfold again.

Tremlett said: "England playing so well last year just got the juices flowing in the public again - it got people talking about cricket.

"For us, and for Australia, The Ashes is the biggest spectacle in cricket.

"We're always going to remember 2005, we're always going to remember The Ashes series we won in Australia and you're always going to remember a great Test series over a Twenty20 game.
