Six months since Hamas shot their family and took their son-in-law hostage, this British couple say:

NOIYA Sharabi would have had no idea that the purple headband she wore on her 16th birthday would become a precious keepsake for her grandparents.

Six days after her party, Noiya, her sister Yahel, 13, and their mother Lianne, 48, were murdered by Hamas terrorists. They were among 1,139 killed in Israel on October 7 last year.

Today, exactly six months on from the horror, Lianne's British parents say they will never get over the deaths.

And they still have no idea if their beloved son-in-law Eli is alive, as he was one of the 254 people taken to Gaza as hostages.

At their home in Bridgend, South Wales, Gillian and Pete Brisley stroke their eldest granddaughter's headband as they talk about their loss.
