Billed as the 'HYPEX - Diamond 2022', the fair this year which began on Saturday, features collections from eight exhibitors. Pictorial exhibits of 60 collectors are among the attractions of the fair, which features accessories such as stamp and coin albums.
This annual event is our attempt to educate the youth about history, said S Srinivasa Raju, secretary of society, which marks Diamond Jubilee this year.
"I have exhibited stamps of erstwhile Hyderabad state, which are not only unique but highly sought after in the international market," said Shaikh Ibrahim, a renowned&nbsp;philatelist, whose collections took centre stage at the expo.

He also displayed a huge collection of Army buttons, badges, medals, monograms, Dak (posts) and rare bus tickets issued during Nizam rule.
For veteran M Kesava Rao, the hobby has been intriguing. According to him, he has the first currency note which was printed in 1919 by Waterlow and Sons Limited in London, introduced in the Nizam period. "This currency with five languages, which had no pictures on the note was left blank to be signed by the Nizam's finance minister," M Kesava Rao told STOI. The exhibition concludes on Monday.
