New Delhi: Delhi police have recovered the CCTV footage of October 18, in which Aaftab Poonawala, accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walker and chopping her body into 35 pieces, is seen leaving his house thrice, around 3am to 4am, with a bag in hand, report Sakshi Chand and Abhay.
When asked about the footage, Aaftab, according to police, confessed these were the last few trips he had made to dispose of body parts. Shraddha had been allegedly killed by him in May. The camera which captured this was installed near the rented flat of the couple in Mehrauli. Police have seized the footage and the DVR.
Aaftab Poonawala, accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walker and chopping her body into 35 pieces, told police he disposed of some pieces of the body in the forest near his flat in May. He had stored the bigger and bulkier parts like the head, torso and fingers of hands and feet in the fridge, planning to get rid of them later and elsewhere.
