Agra: Two days after the body of a young woman, now identified as Aayushi Chaudhary, was found wrapped in plastic inside a red trolley bag on the service lane near Yamuna expressway in Mathura, police arrested her father Nitesh Kumar Yadav, 49, and mother Brajbala, 45, for the murder.
Officiating SSP (Mathura) Martand P Singh said, “The 21-year-old, who was pursuing bachelors in computer applications (BCA) from a private college in Delhi, was living with her family in Modband area of southeast Delhi. On November 17, she had an altercation with her parents over her marriage with a man her father disapproved of. Subsequently, she was beaten and shot twice in the chest with a licensed revolver by her father.”
