<p id="4">&ldquo;A polycrisis is a situation where multiple events come in the way of human ability to comprehend them and to react meaningfully, cogently and consistently,&rdquo; he said, while speaking at the SBI conclave on Thursday. Nageswaran said that notwithstanding the resilience of the financial markets, there was a polycrisis because of uncertain global growth outlook, high inflation and worsening financial conditions.</p>
<p id="5">He said that while there was an &ldquo;uneasy truce in the global uncertainty, we cannot rule out the current tightening cycle lasting longer than anticipated because financial markets refuse to roll over&rdquo;.</p>
