New Delhi: Shivani Bhattacharya and her husband accompanied their son, who was scheduled to appear for the examination at a centre in Rohini's Sector 11, only to be taken aback. "My son had been assigned the second slot. When we reached the centre around 12:45 pm, we found a notice announcing that the exam had been postponed. The school officials were at a loss and could not provide any information," recalled the Dwarka resident.
"It was only after the parents protested that an official appeared and told us that they had received information only at 11 am. This is sheer harassment and really hard on these students who seem to be living a never-ending nightmare," she said. "There were people who had travelled all the way from Ghaziabad and even Patna (by choice, believing things would be smooth in the Capital), only to find that they had been left high and dry. The cutoff system now seems so good."
