The last date for submission of the form is December 23 and the first list will be released on January 20, 2023. <p id="1"><strong>New Delhi: </strong>The registration process for admissions to the 75% general category seats in nursery, KG and Class I in private schools will begin on December 1. The last date for submission of the form is December 23 and the first list will be released on January 20, 2023.</p>
<p id="2">There is no change in the admission rule; it will take place on the basis of the point system allotted to different criteria. Each school will follow its own criteria, and the common ones include distance from the school, a sibling in the same school, and an alumnus/alumna parent. The schools will follow the same admission process for the main junior school/pre-school. It is not mandatory for the parents to buy a prospectus along with the application form. The schools can only charge Rs 25 as registration fees.</p>
<p id="3">As per the upper age-limit criterion, a child should not be less than 4 years as of March 31, 2023 for nursery, not less than 5 years for KG (preprimary) and not less than 6 years for Class I. The minimum age will be three, four and five years, respectively.</p>

<p id="2">All private unaided recognised schools will upload the details of the children admitted and in-waiting and the marks allotted to them under the point system on the module developed by the directorate of education. Following the first list, the schools will have to address all grievances between January 21 and 30.</p>
<p id="3">In case there is a tie among applicants, the schools will have to conduct the draw of lots. The draw of lots can either be computerised or through slips in the presence of parents. The process will also have to be video graphed and the footage will be retained by the school.</p>
<p id="4">The admission details for the 25% reserved economically weaker section/disadvantaged/children with special needs will be released later.</p>
