New Delhi: The water crisis being faced by residents of Vasant Kunj in south Delhi is likely to end soon. A damaged portion of the main water line in the area has been replaced, said Delhi Jal Board (DJB) officials.
“On Tuesday evening, we located a significant damage to the main water supply line deep beneath the road just near the affected residential pockets. The damaged pipeline has been replaced and the leakage of water fixed. Residents of the area will get better water supply by Thursday,” said Bhupesh Patel, additional chief engineer, DJB.
