డ్యామ్ నిర్మాణంపై సిఎం సంచలన కామెంట్లు
గ్యాంగ్టక్, అక్టోబరు 6: ఈశాన్య రాష్ట్రం సిక్కింలో సంభవించిన ఆకస్మిక వరదల్లో మృతుల సంఖ్య 40కి చేరుకోగా వారిలో 22 మంది మృతదేహాలు లభ్యమయ్యాయి.అదేవిధంగా 22 మంది ఆర్మీ అధికారులు సహా గల్లంతయిన వారి సంఖ్య 98కి పెరిగింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వరదలపై సిక్కిం ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రేమిసింగ్ తమాంగ్ సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. నాసిరకం నిర్మాణం చుంగుతాంగ్ కారణంగా కొట్టుకు డ్యామ్ పోయిందన్నారు. కాగా, సిక్కిం సిఎం ప్రేమసింగ్ తమాంగ్ మాట్లాడుతూ డ్యామ్ నిర్మాణం సరైన పద్దతిలో జరగలేదు.&nbsp;ఫలితంగా ఇది కొట్టుకుపోయింది. రాష్ట్రం జ ఉత్తరభాగంలో మిగిలిన ప్రాంతాలకు సంబంధాలు తెగిపోయాయి. క్లౌడ్బర్సింగ్ కారణంగా భారీ వర్షాల నేపథ్యంలో డ్యామ్ పూర్తిగా దెబ్బతిన్నట్లు తెలిపారు. 1200 మెగా వాట్ల జలవిద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ కూడా వరదల కారణంగా కొట్టుకుపోయినట్లు స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఇది సిక్కిం రాష్ట్రానికి భారీ నష్టాన్ని కలిగించిందని రోడ్లు కొట్టుకుపోయాయి. వంతెనలు ధ్వంసమయ్యాయి. తీస్తాపై 13 వంతెనలు కొట్టుకుపోయాయని చెప్పుకొచ్చారు.తమాంగ్ వివరించారు. ఇదిలా ఉండగా ఉత్తర సిక్కింలోని లోనాక్ సరస్సు సైజు గత 30 ఏళ్లలో మూడు రెట్లు రెట్లు పెరిగినట్లు తాజాగా గణాంకాలు చెబుతున్నాయి.&nbsp; చుంగుతాంగ్ డ్యామ్క సమయంలో లోనాక్ సరస్సు నుంచి పూర్తి నీరు డ్యామ్ ని చేరలేదు. ఈ సరస్సులో ఇంకా నీరు ఉన్నట్లు శాటిలైట్ ఫొటోలు వివరిస్తున్నాయి ఈ నీరు కూడా డ్యామ్లోకి చేరితే పెనువిపత్తు చోటు చేసుకునేదని నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు. సిక్కింలో ఇలాంటి సరస్సులు మొత్తం 14 వరకు ఉన్నాయి. వీటిల్లో కుంభవృష్టిలు, భారీ మంచుపెళ్లలు విరిగిపడినా ఇవి గట్లు తెంచుకుని ఊళ్లపై పడతాయి. లోనాక్ సరస్సు ప్రదేశం సెస్మిక్ జోన్లో ఉండటంతో భూకంపాల కారణంగా ఇది లీకయ్యే ప్రమాదం ఉందని నిపుణులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.
