హైదరాబాద్, అక్టోబరు 8, ప్రభాతవార్త: రాష్ట్రంలో అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలు సమీపిస్తున్న వేళ ఎక్సైజ్ శాఖ అప్రమత్తమైంది. మరో రెండు మూడు రోజుల్లో ఎన్నికల షెడ్యూల్ విడుదల కానున్న నేపథ్యంలో అధికారులు ప్రత్యేకంగా ఎన్ఫోర్స్మెంట్ దళాలను రంగంలోకి దింపారు. రాష్ట్ర సరిహద్దుల వెంట వాహనా లను తనిఖీ చేసేందుకు 21 శాశ్వత ఎక్సైజ్ పోస్టులను ఏర్పాటు చేయడంతో పాటు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ సరిహద్దుల్లో 8, మహారాష్ట్ర ఛత్తీస్గడ్ సరిహద్దుల్లో 8, కర్నాటక సరిహద్దులో 4, సరిహద్దులో ఒక చెకోపోస్టు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ఈ చెకో పోస్టులు వద్ద సీసీటీవీ కెమె రాలు కార్యాలయం వద్ద కమాండ్ కంట్రోల్ సెంటర్తో ఏర్పాటు చేసి రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన అనుసంధానం చేశారు.
పోలీసులు, ఇతర ఎన్ఫోర్స్మెంట్ ఏజెన్సీల సమన్వయంతో 89 ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ చెకోపోస్టులు, 4 సరిహద్దు మొబైల్ పెట్రోలింగ్ పార్టీలు, 8 ఇన్కమింగ్ రైలు మార్గాల నుంచి తనిఖీ చేయడానికి 13 ప్రత్యేక బృందాలు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.బస్స్టేషన్లు, రైల్వే స్టేషన్లు, విమానాశ్రయాలలో తనిఖీలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు.కాగా, ఈ నెల 5న కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం సమీక్షా సమావేశం అనంతరం ఎన్ఫోర్స్మెంట్ కార్య కలాపాలు వేగవంతం చేశారు. ఇప్పటివరకు రూ.1.14 కోట్ల విలువైన 14,227 లీటర్ల మధ్యం, 1710 కిలోల బెల్లం, 170 కిలోల గంజాయితో పాటు 21 వాహనాలను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 29663 మంది వివాదాస్పద వ్యక్తులతో పాటు పలువురు నిందితులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. గతంలో ఎన్నికలకు సంబంధించి నేర చరిత్ర ఉన్న 14 మందిపై పీడీ యాక్టు నమోదు చేశారు. అలాగే, రాష్ట్రంలో నేర చరిత్ర ఉన్న 8362 మంది నిఘా పరిధిలో ఉన్నట్లు ఎక్సైజ్ శాఖ వర్గాలు వెల్లడించాయి.
