<p><strong>చెన్నై, సెప్టెంబర్ 11: </strong>సెప్టెంబర్ 28న ఎం.ఎస్.స్వామినాథన్ చెన్నైలో కన్నుమూశారు.వ్యవసాయ శాస్త్రవేత్త, ప్రఖ్యాత హరిత విప్లవ పితామహుడు స్వామినాథను మరింత గౌరవం కల్పించేలా.తమిళనాడు సీఎం స్టాలిన్ కీలక ప్రకటన చేశారు.తమిళనాడు అసెంబ్లీలో కీలక ప్రకటన సీఎం ఎంకే స్టాలిన్ చేశారు. తంజావూరులోని ఆయన భారత ఎం. ఎస్.వ్యవసాయ కళాశాల పరిశోధనా సంస్థకు ప్రఖ్యాత వ్యవసాయ శాస్త్రవేత్త, భారత హరిత పితామహుడు డాక్టర్ విప్లవ ఎం. ఎస్. స్వామినాథన్ పేరు పెడుతున్నట్టు తెలిపారు. అలాగే, తమిళనాడు వ్యవసాయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో ప్రొపగేషన్, ప్లాంట్ జెనిటిక్స్ విభాగంల్లో టాపర్లుగా నిలిచిన వారిని సత్కరించేందుకు స్వామినాథన్ పేరిట అవార్డును ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని వెల్లడించారు.ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన అసెంబ్లీలో మాట్లాడుతూ..తంజావూరులోని ఈచనోకోట్రైలో ఉన్న ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ను డాక్టర్ ఎం. ఎస్ స్వామినాథన్ అగ్రికల్చరల్ కాలేజ్ అండ్ రీసెర్చ్ ఇన్ట్యూట్గా మారుస్తామని ప్రకటించారు.పద్మవిభూషణ్, మెగసెసే అవార్డులతో పాటు అనేక జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ పురస్కారాలతో గౌరవం పొంది స్వామినాథను గౌరవించుకొనేందుకు నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. 1960వ దేశంలో హరిత విప్లవానికి దశకంలో స్వామినాథన్ చేసిన కృషిని స్టాల్ ఈ సంద ర్భంగా గుర్తు చేసుకున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈయన చేసి పనిని ప్రశసించారు. స్వామినాథన్ 1969లోనే వాతావరణ మార్పుల గురించి మాట్లాడారని ప్రత్యేకంగా గుర్తు చేసుకున్నారు.</p>
