Travel and photographing wildlife are what he enjoys when he gets a chance. His photographs have been featured in several books and magazines including Birding Asia, Forktail and Sanctuary Asia.

Mongolia, a land of vast and untamed wilderness, is a country where the ancient and the natural coexist in harmony. Nestled between Russia to the north and China to the south, Mongolia is known for its dramatic landscapes, ranging from the rolling steppes and rugged mountains to the arid expanses of the Gobi Desert. This sparsely populated country is home to a rich cultural heritage, where nomadic traditions thrive, and nature remains largely untouched by modern development.
The Eastern Mongolian steppes offer a unique ecosystem that supports a diverse array of wildlife. This region is characterised by its expansive grasslands, which stretch out as far as the eye can see, providing a pristine habitat for species such as the Pallas’s cat, various raptors, and a multitude of bird species. The vibrant seasonal changes bring the steppe to life, with green grasses and wildflowers painting the landscape during the warmer months, especially after the rains, creating an ideal backdrop for wildlife photography.
