It has been seven years since the Sunrisers Hyderabad won the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy. It was Australian star David Warner who captained the team to victory. Sunrisers Hyderabad are consistently among the most intriguing teams at the IPL auction, consistently buying players based on recent performance trends, as evidenced by their hefty purchase of Harry Brook. Ahead of the 2024 season, SRH has a mostly settled lineup but needs a few key players to enhance their roster.
The IPL 2024 auction is scheduled at the CocaCola Arena in Dubai on December 19.
SARFARAZ KHAN
Given his strong performances in domestic cricket, Sunrisers Hyderabad may opt to bid for Sarfaraz Khan in the auction. Sarfaraz has been a part of RCB, Punjab and Delhi Capitals. He is consistent in the domestic circuit but could not stamp his authority in the IPL. As a wicketkeeper-batsman, Sarfaraz would add versatility and batting depth to the Sunrisers lineup.
