HIGHLAND AVENUE was visually impressive when winning the Group 3 Earthlight Darley Stakes at Newmarket on October 14 and that view is backed up by his speed figure of 107.

He did get the run of the race but had four lengths in hand as he enjoyed ground that didn’t seem that soft despite the amount of rain the track had taken.

This specialist trip of 1m1f suits him well and he could have another good season next term. Second home SILVER SWORD (103) is only three and looks capable of making his mark in this sort of grade.
