'Bhele' scored his goals in the colours of five different clubs - African Wanderers, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Moroka Swallows and AmaZulu, where he finally retired in his early 40s. In all, the KwaMashu-born Nomvethe played 13 seasons in South Africa in between spells in Serie A with Udinese and in the Danish league at Aalborg.

But he has banged them in with regularity since, with his best return coming in the 2021/22 season with 30 in all competitions for Sundowns. Shalulile began his career in his home country as a left back before being converted into a deadly striker.
