Usha were among the dignitaries who unveiled three kits for the Indian team. The playing kit by JSW Inspire, the ceremonial attire by Tarun Tahiliani’s TASVA, and performance footwear by PUMA were showcased by the athletes.
Dr Mandaviya highlighted the nation’s pride in its athletes, stating that their dedication represents the dreams of billions. He reflected on India’s Olympic journey, noting the increase in medals from Rio 2016 to Tokyo 2020 and expressing hope for further success in Paris. He emphasised the government’s role in supporting athletes through initiatives like the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS).
