ACE ABO: THIS CAN BE MY MOMENT

Going into this weekend, the Grimsby winger found himself in the unfamiliar position of being among League Two's top ten marksmen, lying above MK Dons striker Mo on alphabetical order, with both having netted four times.

His elder brother rattled in 25 goals during his first season as a pro at Cheltenham having been plucked from Isthmian Division One South football with Greenwich Borough in the summer of 2017.

Abo, in contrast, has not hit double figures from the flanks in any of his previous five EFL campaigns.

But the Sudanese siblings aged 29 and 27- are set to line up against each other for the first time when the Mariners and Dons meet this season and Abo is relishing his rubbing of shoulders with Mo in the goal charts.

"He's normally in and around that conversation of who's going to finish up there most seasons and it would be great if I could stay in that conversation this season," said Abo.
