CARLOS Corberan was delighted that his West Brom team overcame a physically challenging week to come from behind and get the better of Norwich – ensuring that they head to Swansea on the final day with a chance of finishing in the play-off places.

Josh Sargent had opened the scoring for David Wagner’s men in the 41st minute, before Conor Townsend’s perfectly executed free-kick levelled the score before half-time.

Jed Wallace then fired in Albion’s winner in the 56th minute and in doing so ended the visitors’ own play-off aspirations.

“I was pleased, considering the physical challenge – we were playing against a team who had had one week to prepare,” said Corberan.

“The effort they put in is why I must give credit to the players. We created good chances, they are a dangerous team. When they broke through our initial press they had a good transition – that’s how they scored.
