IT'S ALL ABOUT US, SAYS BOSS HECKY

PAUL Heckingbottom takes his Sheffield United side to Burnley for tomorrow’s top-of-the-table clash not worrying about the results of fellow promotion-chasers after their win over Wigan Athletic.

IT'S ALL ABOUT US, SAYS BOSS HECKY

Defeat for the second-placed Blades against the runaway leaders could enable the chasing pack to make up valuable ground in the battle for automatic promotion.

A first-half goal from Illiman Ndiaye against Wigan keeps Heckingbottom’s men in pole position to make a return to the Premier League.

“This is obviously a really exciting time of the season,” said Heckingbottom.

“If teams around us drop points it’s a bonus, but we don’t focus on results elsewhere. As long as we keep winning and making that margin of error even finer for them, we don’t have to worry about anything else.

“Of course we want to keep making that margin of error even finer for them, but we want to make sure these past few games are about us and our performances, not theirs.
