Arsenal’s young guns might be hitting the headlines as the London club target their first Premier League title in 19 years but, south of the Thames, Charlton duo Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Miles Leaburn are making their own waves.
Early last month, 21-year-old duo Saka and Martinelli were the youngest players to have scored double figures in English football’s top four divisions this season.
That was until on-loan Crystal Palace 20-year-old RakSakyi netted his 10th of the campaign during a 2-1 win at Cambridge.
Just a week later, his Valley team-mate Leaburn then knocked him off the perch at the age of 19 in a 1-1 draw against Wycombe.
Leaburn had moved on to 12 ahead of the Easter programme – one ahead of RakSakyi, who was a year above his striking partner when the pair were Chelsea academy hopefuls.
