The evolving technologies today are possible only with a simultaneous change in hardware.
AI, Cloud computing, data analytics management, as-aservice platforms and others need a compatible hardware to operate.
Important Aspects
The manufacturers have realised this need outlined above and are investing in R&D to bring out the advanced hardware on which the new emerging technologies can operate. At the same time, the production and movement of these gadgets have to be fast, so as to meet the demand and supply. A third factor is the pricing. As new products come into the market, they have to be available at affordable prices in order for the customers to purchase them in large numbers.
The paradox of emerging technologies is that they become outdated fast, as they become upgraded or a newer technology replaces them. The customer is usually not willing to keep on buying newer products at a fast pace. They want their recently purchased products to stay relevant for a long period. For this, the technology of the hardware has to be such that it can be easily upgraded as the emerging techs evolve.
The partners who are in the chain of hardware selling play a critical role from this perspective. They have to ensure that the latest upgraded products are easily available to their customers. Especially after-sales service is very important in this matter. The partners have to continuously train themselves in the evolving aspects of technology so that they can provide accurate and expert post-sales upgrade, its operations and maintenance.
