OnePlus is bringing the heat with this powerful tablet. Is it gonna be the new cool kid on the block or just another wannabe? Let's dive in and find out.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The Oneplus Pad 2 boasts sturdy construction and features an aluminium frame on the sides and back, ensuring solid build quality. The front of the device showcases a 12.1-inch LCD panel, which is slightly larger than its predecessor. This large screen is perfect for watching videos and can even be used as a makeshift laptop(paired with a smart keyboard), providing a versatile user experience. Additionally, the Oneplus Pad 2 now weighs 584 grams, a 32-gram increase from its previous model. This time, the OnePlus Pad 2 has six speakers, making it loud enough to watch content without missing any dialogue.
PERFORMANCE
The Oneplus Pad 2 has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This is the same processor that powers all the flagship smartphones, such as the recently reviewed Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6. The same level of flagship processing can be seen on OnePlus Pad 2. I have been using Pad 2 for the past week, and it is incredibly smooth, even with OxygenOS running on it. I was impressed by how effortlessly it handled multiple tabs on Chrome, and multitasking was a breeze with split-screen.
Thanks to its larger display, gaming on this tablet is a whole new experience. I played multiple games, including Call of Duty and Genshin Impact. The quality of the display really boosts the gaming experience to another level. I found myself completely absorbed in the games, losing track of time for several hours.
