AN IMAC OR mid-range monitor actually does a passable job of audio playback despite the physical limitations of their thin design. But as with TVs, you're never going to get really big sound or deep bass out of them. The Soundblade is essentially a sound bar that's designed to sit under your iMac or monitor and solve this problem. Available in five colors, it has a fairly plastic but solid enough feel and comes with a remote control as well as having some touch-sensitive buttons to one side of its top surface.
