The best power banks for travelling

A portable power bank can often come in handy if you need to top up your iPhone’s battery when you’re travelling. But it’s not just iPhones that we have to worry about these days. You’re just as likely to have a set of AirPods or other headphones with you, an Apple Watch, and maybe even an iPad. Some of the more basic power banks may only have a single connector for charging one device at a time, but many of the latest models now give you the ability to charge several different devices at once. A good power bank will also have a combination of USB-A and USB-C ports, and even a Qi wireless charging pad too.

Anker 533

$49.99 From us.anker.com

Features 10,000mAh, 1x USB–C, 1x USB–A, Qi charging

Anker's product names and numbers are a bit confusing, so you need to pay close attention when ordering their products online. It's worth the effort, though, as power banks like the Anker 533 aka the PowerCore III or PowerCore 10K - are really good value for money.

The Anker 533 only costs $49.99, but it provides 10,000mAh of total power, with the ability to charge three devices at once. There are USB-A and USB-C ports, which both provide up to 18W power for mobile devices, along with a Qi wireless charging pad with 10W power. You can charge the Anker 533 via the USB-C port, whilst also using it to charge other devices. Plus, there's a handy little pull-out stand that lets you watch video on your iPhone while it's charging, and you even get a little carrying pouch too.
