Being so close to success in the final area, after adventuring across the giant No More Room In Hell 2 map for over 45 minutes, made the failure even more depressing. I'd finally managed to team up with a couple of other survivors, we'd looted a couple of locations such as an abandoned church and building yard to get some weapons that should have given us a good shot in the final stage, and then headed to the power plant at the center of the map to try to complete the final objective.
But with just three of us out of a possible eight, and the fact we joined forces early on before we had properly looted the areas we spawned in, it meant we were always going to be up against it.
We ran out of ammo mid-way through the final fight, and despite the zombies being reasonably slow, when a horde finds you in a confined area you're probably out of luck, unless you're packing some explosives.
