THE BASICS
Nuke the ads
The big new Prime Video feature for 2024 was ads. Yay.' In terms of annoyance factor, they're about halfway between YouTube and ITV. You can be rid of them by paying three quid per month on top of your existing Prime subscription. Or by, you know, avoiding the service entirely as a silent protest.
Stash your shows
Assuming you're happy to pay up (or put up with ads), use the Home tab to explore what's on offer. If you find something you like, add it to your watchlist from the button on the show/movie's page. Your watchlist is later found under My Stuff on platforms that have that tab, or under your profile.
Check the quality
If you're on your phone, or just somewhere with limited internet bandwidth, head into the settings and lower the streaming quality (you can choose to revert this to maximum when you're back on Wi-Fi). To save on bandwidth and storage space also check download quality options for shows and movies you store offline.
Live talkin'
Feeling retro? Try the Live TV tab to relive the days before on-demand... while your inner 8-yr-old looks on in envy at the dedicated He-Man channel.
Share the love
Prime is designed to be shared among a household. In a browser, view the Prime section in Your Account; under Membership, select 'Manage your household'. You can invite one other adult and up to four children... then remove them if they don't do the dishes. Kids will need a birthdate added, so they don't see any nasty content.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess - It's really not what you expect from a major publisher these days, but Capcom's curious blend of action, real-time strategy and tower defence is one of the most original games you'll play all year
It's really not what you expect from a major publisher these days, but Capcom's curious blend of action, real-time strategy and tower defence is one of the most original games you'll play all year. From its colourful costumes to a pastoral message of healing nature, Kunitsu-Gami is proudly Japanese in its inspirations. Your masked warrior is on a mission to help a divine maiden purge a mountain of an evil 'defilement'... but this is no Link/Zelda dynamic: you'll also rely on villagers to help you beat back monsters.

Cygni: All Guns Blazing

Scott Contessa Voltage eRide 910
This is an electric trail bike designed with women in mind – not that you’d know that just by looking at it, because thankfully Scott hasn’t adopted the insulting ‘shrink it and pink it’ approach that many brands take.
Squareless whisper
This budget smartwatch sequel from the Nothing sub-brand no longer looks like an Apple Watch wannabe... but can it improve on the original?

SENNHEISER HD 490 PRO
CAMBRIDGE AUDIO EVO ONE
Considering how much the Evo One costs, slicing and dicing your veggies on it probably isn't the smartest idea.
