Jumpin' black dash
The digital dashboard provides real-time race telemetry, with some racing titles replicating authentic dash displays. You can also tune and access up to 10 onboard profiles.
Part me up
The wheel detaches from the base with a simple quick-release mechanism. One caveat, though: where other systems let you just slide the wheel on, here you need to pull a latch.
Wild forces
Braking is designed to be super-realistic, with the amount of pressure measured by the force you put into the pedal and not the distance it travels. This is fully adjustable in the app.
TURTLE BEACH VELOCITYONE RACE
For the most authentic FXbox driving experience, whether you're racing in Forza or the next F1, direct-drive is really the only way to go. The downside is that these wheels usually cost a huge sum, making them the exclusive preserve of serious simmers with money to burn. So kudos to Turtle Beach for giving us an affordable wheel that's not only direct-drive but also comes with pedals.
In terms of bulk it's similar to the Logitech G Pro Wheel, with a 300mm diameter, rounded edges and a grippy leather covering that feels distinctly premium. More important, of course, is the custom 7.2Nm direct-drive force-feedback motor inside the wheelbase. This gives a low-latency, high-fidelity response that truly does feel like the real thing.

It's really not what you expect from a major publisher these days, but Capcom's curious blend of action, real-time strategy and tower defence is one of the most original games you'll play all year. From its colourful costumes to a pastoral message of healing nature, Kunitsu-Gami is proudly Japanese in its inspirations. Your masked warrior is on a mission to help a divine maiden purge a mountain of an evil 'defilement'... but this is no Link/Zelda dynamic: you'll also rely on villagers to help you beat back monsters.
