In a world awash with big screens, it’s as well to consider the benefits a smaller TV can bring

Bigger is better, right? Or is it ‘small is beautiful’? There is, of course, no definitive right answer: just as we embrace the idea that ‘many hands make light work’, we also acknowledge that ‘too many cooks spoil the broth’. When it comes to TVs, the demand for bigger and bigger screens in recent years has kept pace with their plentiful supply yet, for many of us, there remain a number of good reasons for resisting the temptation to go large.
