Away from the hustle and bustle of the boisterous life in Bangalore, we walked into a scenic property nestled in the lap of lush greenery comprising of exotic trees and flowers, while the chirping birds and the sun playing hide and seek welcomed us at The Orchid Tree wellness retreat. As we took the cobbled pathway to set up for our shoot, we couldn't help but fall in love with the sight that enamoured us.
It was already an experience worth cherishing and we were just getting started! Our Creative designer had a vision for the cover shoot of Varaa's October edition and we all were excited to see his vision come to reality! The idea for this shoot was to showcase the beauty of nature in its real form and we used elements which are closer to nature like a stunning outdoor location, real birds and animals (as available at the location) to bring to life the colours, patterns and textures as seen in the wilderness. Keeping the theme in mind, we chose colours, patterns and silhouettes that would help us tell our story and create a collage that would resonate with the beauty of nature in its entirety.
BREAKING DOWN THE LOOKS FOR YOU!
Each of the look was carefully curated by Sangeetha Kailash, our editor at Varaa and the ensemble thus created is a mix of stunning outfits, jewellery, styling and grace of our beautiful muse-all captured expertly by our seasoned photographer.
Meet our cover girl, a vision in a powder blue ensemble, setting the tone for our fashion narrative. This lehenga is from Kalighata, a one stop bridal destination located in Kolkata where you can find bespoke wedding outfits ranging from lehengas to jumpsuitsall designed to bring affordable luxury to those who seek something truly elegant and exquisite for their special occasions.
