METHOD

1 In a large Dutch oven over mediumhigh heat, cook sausage, bacon and red pepper flakes for 5–7 minutes, until well browned. Using a slotted spoon, drain sausage and bacon on a paper towel-lined plate. Leave 2 tablespoons grease in pan and discard remaining.
