POSITIVITY, INNER PEACE & True Beauty

KNOWN WORLDWIDE FOR HER POWERFUL VOICE and delightful energy, Carnie Wilson is no stranger to the limelight. The daughter of Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys and Marilyn Rovell of The Honeys, Carnie and her sister, Wendy, along with their friend Chynna Phillips, found success in their superstar group, Wilson Phillips, in 1989. That same success has followed her into each new endeavor, from bestselling books to her new gig hosting her AXS TV show, Sounds Delicious, and Sirius XM's Jeff Lewis Extended. But the superstar admits that she has not been immune to the highs and lows of life, having struggled with alcohol addiction and depression. How does she keep moving? "I'm drawn to positivity," Carnie, 56, tells FIRST. "I just refuse to be down. A lot of people are really quick to criticize you and cut you down, and if you listen, then you'll start feeling that way about yourself. But I refuse. If there is negativity around me, I just walk away-I choose peace." Here, more of Carnie's tips for finding serenity and being the best you through the good times and bad.
