Time to slow down? At 84, the leading lady has no intention of being left in the wings
Passion & protesting: JANE'S SECRET FOR STAYING YOUNG

As she counts down to her 85th birthday in December, Jane Fonda can't help but be a little pleased with herself.

"If you had told me that at this age I'd be in three movies... I would not have believed that," the Hollywood legend laughs.

But as it turns out, she says, "You can be very old at 84, but you can also be very young. If you stay curious, you will stay young for a long time."

Since the moment she steamed up the big screen in 1968's Barbarella, Jane has remained a beloved screen icon.

Whether it's for starring in the 1980 hit movie 9 to 5, feeling "the burn" in her legendary workout videos or being arrested for one of her political protests, the name Jane Fonda has not been forgotten.

And she's not finished yet! Nothing's off the table in a chat with the Grace and Frankie star including sex.

"I think I got better with age," the actress says of life between the sheets.

"Women, I think, tend to get better because they lose their fear of saying what they need.

"You know, we waste so much time not wanting to say, 'Wait a minute, hold it, hold it. No, no, no, slow down.'

"When we get older, it's like, 'No, I know what I want. Give me what I want!"

Don't get her wrong: the three-times married star is currently single and she's not looking for a relationship.
