United we stand! WILLIAM'S FIGHT FOR HIS FAMILY

The rift between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry has widened to a chasm, thanks to the drama caused by Omid Scobie’s controversial book Endgame. And royal experts say it will take a miracle for the siblings to ever be able to patch things up following the cataclysmic fallout.

Not only have claims in the book about members of the royal family further fractured the already fragile relationship between William, 41, and Harry, 39, but the scandal that ensued after the two people alleged to have made “concerning” racist comments were named has further deepened the divide.

The Weekly is choosing not to name the family members who were outed as being the pair, the Sussexes claimed in their 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview, who commented about how dark their son Prince Archie’s skin might be while Meghan was pregnant with him. But we can say that while William was not one of them, he is said to be absolutely furious about the finger pointing. He was already angry about parts of the book, including those that painted his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41, as “cold”, “coachable” and “a grinning puppet”, according to a palace insider.

The pair involved in the “racist” conversation were named by journalist Piers Morgan on his TV show after their details appeared in the Dutch translation of Endgame. Piers said the UK public deserved to know who they were, given that people in the Netherlands did, even though copies of the book were immediately pulped when the mistake was discovered.

Omid insists the names were not in the manuscript he wrote, but Dutch translator Saskia Peeters says, “The names were there in black and white. I did not add them.”
