How to make extra cash this year... WITHOUT leaving your home
Our money expert Kalpana Fitzpatrick shows you how to boost your income by hundreds of pounds each month
It's that time of year when our finances are likely to be feeling squeezed. But January is a great time to tap into the opportunities to make some extra cash and give your bank balance a much-needed lift. I show you how you can make hundreds of extra pounds from your home and by selling stuff you no longer need.
Here's how to boost your bank balance this year- and you don't even have to leave the house for it.
Cash in on old clothes - £100+ You don't have to wait until spring to have a good clear-out - do it now, because your clutter could be worth hundreds of extra pounds in your pocket. If your wardrobe is spilling out with clothes you no longer wear, then it's time to sell them. Just selling 10 items at £10 each will bag you £100. The market for pre-loved items is booming as consumers cut back on costs and become mindful of the environment, so now is the perfect time to offload.
The easiest way to sell them is to use some of these apps (tried and tested by yours truly).
