Speculation of a feud between broadcasting legends Eamonn Holmes and Phillip Schofield has been ongoing for months, with Eamonn liking tweets branding Phillip 'rude' and accusing him of 'being renowned for snubbing people'.
Now, Eamonn has kicked off again by appearing to agree that Phillip is 'passive aggressive' on Twitter. And, with a source telling Woman, 'Eamonn makes no secret of his disdain towards Phillip,' is their rivalry about to come to a head?
After revealing his delight at actor Pierce Brosnan filming in his hometown of Belfast, Eamonn, 62, wrote on Twitter, 'Having met the man a few times, he reaffirms my faith that international superstars can be nice people.'
He then liked a response from a follower which read, 'Unlike passive-aggressive @Schofe, Pierce being from the Emerald Isle will understand the Ulster sense of humour better - if you know, you know!'
Perhaps tellingly, Eamonn later added, 'Being nice goes a long way.' And our insider adds, 'It's clear Eamonn is not Phillip's biggest fan. He says that Phil likes to think he's the king of the world.'
