'I DROPPED TO ALMOST 6 1/2 ST'

Say what you want about Sharon Osbourne, but one thing you can't accuse her of is being boring. From the hit MTV reality show The Osbournes to being outspoken in her current job on TalkTV, it's safe to say the former X Factor judge has kept us entertained over the years. And she's just as fun to hang out with in real life. When we catch up with the star, she's unapologetically herself, laughing as she tells us, 'I can't help the things I come out with! I do try and stop myself sometimes, but it's impossible.'

Sharon, 71, now divides her time between London and LA, where she lives with her husband, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. Their kids Aimee, 40, Kelly, 39, and Jack, 38, and grandkids live close by, something Sharon loves. Here, the star opens up about life as a grandmother, why she thinks The X Factor shouldn't return, her experience with Ozempic - the diabetes drug controversially used for weight loss - and why she isn't ashamed of having surgery.

Hi Sharon! You head up the panel debate show The Talk on TalkTV. You must love being on a platform where you can say exactly what you're thinking?

I do. I've got this outlet where I can have a good debate. Nobody ever agrees with anyone else and that's brilliant because you say your bit and move on. We debate in an adult way and it's great to have a platform like that. It's healthy to state your case rather than just telling someone to f**k off! I wish you could do that on more channels.

Do you worry about being too controversial?

It's always on my mind, but I can't stop it. I'll say something and then it's like, 'Oh God, here comes the abuse!'

Have you got used to trolling?

IS THERE ANYTHING MORE NOSTALGIC THAN CHRISTMASES PAST?

Do you remember the anticipation before the big day, pondering endlessly about what should go on your Christmas list? I would lovingly write two or three things down, pop it into an envelope and leave it by the fireplace to be wafted up the chimney like something out of Mary Poppins.
