FERN BRITTON
She split from husband of 20 years, Phil Vickery, 61, in 2020, and has been single ever since. The 65-year-old, who shares daughter Winnie, 21, with Phil and has three children with first husband Clive Jones, 74, explained, ‘I have a lovely social life and that’s enough for me... Being single has been liberating. I like being on my own… I wouldn’t consider dating again at the moment.’
CAROL VORDERMAN
She’s been single for more than 15 years but that doesn’t mean that Carol Vorderman is missing out on all the fun. In fact, far from it. The 62-year old revealed she currently has five different men on the go, admitting, ‘This whole assumption, “Have you got a man?” Well, no, actually I’ve got five!’ She added that she’s never felt freer. ‘I don’t really want to marry again… So I have ignored looking for one person and I have a number of what I’ve called “special friends”.’ Whatever works for you, Carol!

'THAT'S NOT MY BABY'
Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly. 'This is our beautiful baby girl.'I stared at the photo and shook my head. 'No, that's not my baby,' I said. 'There must be a mistake.'It was August 2010 and I'd not long before had an emergency caesarean. I'd not had a chance to see Winnie when she arrived as she'd been whisked away for tests because she was nearly two months premature.
