I love starting the week with clean sheets. There's something about the feeling of crisp cotton against the skin. But it hasn't always been the case. Before we had kids my regime was very different.

In 2010 my husband, Chris, started working away more often, and I wouldn't change the bedding until he got home, as I liked the scent of him lingering on the pillow.

Then when our children came along, life became more chaotic. I had a relentless list of chores that needed to be done. I felt overwhelmed.
