HOW TO DO IT
1 Heat the oven to 200C Fan/Gas 7. Heat your frying pan or skillet on the hob to a medium-high heat. Add half the oil and fry the sausages for 5-8 mins, turning them regularly.
2 Ad Add the ras-el-hanout to the pan with the onion and pepper and toss to coat. Arrange the tomatoes on top, then drizzle with the remaining oil. Transfer to the oven to cook for 15 mins.
3 In a small bowl, add the pitta pieces, drizzle with a little olive oil, season and toss to coat. Add to the frying pan in the oven and cook for 5-10 more mins, until the veg is tender, the sausages are cooked and the pitta is crisp. Serve from the pan, with houmous, if you like.

'THAT'S NOT MY BABY'
Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly. 'This is our beautiful baby girl.'I stared at the photo and shook my head. 'No, that's not my baby,' I said. 'There must be a mistake.'It was August 2010 and I'd not long before had an emergency caesarean. I'd not had a chance to see Winnie when she arrived as she'd been whisked away for tests because she was nearly two months premature.
