MY FICTION PRESCRIPTION

Over the last few years, I’ve had a lot of stress and grief. I’ve been organising home renovations, which went over budget, before this my best friend Fiona passed away from breast cancer, aged 45. We’d been friends for 33 years – she knew ALL my secrets.

Then my 82-year-old mother died unexpectedly from a blood clot in September 2020. To top it all, my beloved dog Molly died from kidney failure in October 2022. Even now, I tear up when I think about these deaths. They still feel recent, raw, and I miss them all terribly.
