Having watched The Crown since it began, I do think they could afford to be more sensitive to the Royal Family. It's not so bad in the older episodes, where many of the events happened before we were born. But sadly, newer episodes feel like they've taken a sensational turn.
There's no denying the good the Royal Family does. Whether they're raising awareness of issues, raising money for charities or even just greeting members of the public, their sense of duty is admirable. By putting sensational spins on events, The Crown could sour public opinion against the family. and detract from all the good work they continue to do.
