The saying goes that failure to plan is planning to fail, and I wholeheartedly agree with that. As a family of six, life in our house requires military-style planning. I always say that if it isn't on the calendar, it isn't going to happen and that includes in the bedroom!

It hasn't always been this way, but with four young kids, including a co-sleeping two-year-old, my husband Rob and I only get time alone when the kids are at school and nursery during the day, and we are both working from home as freelance journalists. As a result, when it comes to sex, it's a case of needs must.
