Festive Feet

Fill our colourful mini stockings with sweets or a handwritten note

MEASUREMENTS

Each stocking is approximately 10cm/4in long (excluding hanging loop). Length of completed garland is adjustable.

MATERIALS

1 x 50g (125m) ball of Scheepjes Catona (100% cotton) in each of the following colours (see Note, right), choose from Red (Candy Apple 516), Orange (Tangerine 281), Bright Green (Emerald 515), Blue (Bluebird 247), Yellow (Lemon 280), Lilac (Colonial Rose 398), Light Green (Lime Juice 392) or Dark Green (Deep Ocean Green 391) for main colours and use either White (Snow White 106) or Light Green (Lime Juice 392) for contrast colours*. 

Size 3mm hook; 2m of thin ribbon or thick yarn; mini wooden craft pegs (one for each stocking); removable stitch marker. Yarn is available from theknittingnetwork.co.uk

TENSION

Tension is not critical for this project.

Ch(s), chain(s); dc, double crochet; dc2tog, double crochet 2 sts together (to decrease) thus: [insert hook in next st, yrh and pull a loop through] twice, yrh and pull through all 3 loops; slst, slip stitch; st(s), stitches; yrh, yarn round hook.

NOTE
