The actor’s ex-wife has helped him turn his life around for the better

Jennifer Lopez is officially the new Mrs Affleck, after tying the knot with Ben Affleck in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony at the drive-through A Little White Wedding Chapel on July 16.

But it’s his first wife, Jennifer Garner, Ben has to thank for helping him get back on track, allowing him to find his happy ever after. In a touching move, the mother of Ben’s children was the first to be snapped heading over to the couple’s Los Angeles home to offer her well wishes on July 17 – just one day after the secret ceremony!

Jen’s visit speaks volumes of the tightly blended family the stars have worked hard to build together despite their split, with sources revealing “Jen is nothing but happy” for the newlyweds, who reportedly toasted to their nuptials with pizza and Diet Coke on their private flight back to LA.

Between Ben and J.Lo, the pair share five children – the actor has three with Jen Garner, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, while the singer, 52, shares twins Emme and Max, 14, with their father Marc Anthony.

Over the years, Ben, 49, has admitted he’s “very grateful” to the Suddenly 30 star for supporting him to get sober – and in turn, his life back.
