The new season of MasterChef has been thrown into chaos, following rumours judge Melissa Leong has fallen out with crew members.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Ten has been "battling to contain" mounting talk of friction on the set of the beloved reality cooking show, with sources saying that the relationship between Melissa, 40, and some members of the crew has become so fraught they no longer wished to work together.
"It's understood Leong now does her own hair and makeup for the program," an article recently claimed.
The revelation comes after Mel reportedly had issues with the MasterChef crew earlier this year, which the source says culminated in Mel not receiving a cake for her birthday, despite the date falling on a non-production day.
Mel allegedly left incensed when fellow judge, Andy Allen, received a cake for his birthday. After learning of Mel's qualms, the crew are said to have countered her complaints, by informing Ten about their run-ins with the star.
